Dye Sublimation

Is the method of applying an image to polyester cloth, using three main processes: sublimation ink, heat and pressure.

Dye Sublimation is very cost effective and the final product is vibrant, lightweight, will easily fit stands, frames and structures,
UV stable and of the highest print quality.

Dye-sublimation is often used to produce trade show backdrops for events, flags, banners and tablecloths. Polyester fabric backdrops
created using the dye-sublimation process offer great advantages over the traditional backdrop materials like vinyl or hard substrates.

These advantages include:
  • Portability - transporting a fabric background is easier, lighter and can result in cost savings on shipping costs.

  • Washable polyester fabrics can be washed or dry-cleaned and tend not to wrinkle as much as vinyl backdrops.

  • Higher Quality- fabric backdrops have a smooth satin look which is more suitable for pictures and TV shots and doesn’t flare under
    flash photography.
